Skye McKenny

Skye loves to work in both watercolours and acrylics.

She was inspired to start painting by her mother who took up painting in her later life. Skye herself enjoys painting while traveling and finds holidays are always a source of inspiration.

Today she is inspired by colours, and generally enjoying the process of creation. "Getting lost in the piece". She also finds the works and encouragement of others inspirational, and enjoys painting with a group once a week.

The famous artist who has influenced her work most is Monet.

Skye often volunteers as the singer and entertainer on opening night.

She does not currently work at the gallery on any set days.
