Anne Hazelwood

Anne was born in Port Pirie, South Australia and has been painting for over 14 years commencing with a "Certificate in Painting" at the Glen Innes TAFE under Tanya Robertson Cunningham. Anne works from her studio at home in oils and occasional watercolours and enjoys the company and encouragement of the Cameron Art Group, Tuesday's and Wednesday's at the Uniting Church Hall. Anne was a featured artist at Emmaville and Glen Innes Town Hall, and Inverell Art Gallery with numerous sales. Anne exhibits at the local Glen Innes Art Gallery, Inverell Art Gallery, coffee shops in Glen Innes and Deepwater, Nursing homes and the New England Club.

Anne has participated in workshops e.g. Grafton Art Fest, Bathurst University under tutors like Lucy and Barry McCann, David Taylor and David Fam, Joan Newhook, Bob Smith, Rupert Richardson, Gordon Rossitor, Jenny McNaughton at Dorrigo and Rhonda March in Glen Innes. Anne participates each year in the show and will support any art exhibitions. Anne recommends art as a very rewarding and challenging hobby and hopes to keep improving and learning.
