I have been interested in Arts & Crafts since I was playing with my mother's button jar. At 14 years old I was given a Box Brownie Camera Which was followed by many different cameras through Black and White & enlargers where the bathroom became a dark room on to the latest digital one that I am using now. It has been well over 50 years and I am still having fun.

In my 20s I taught myself to do Tatting which originated in France. It is the art of making fine hand made lace with a shuttle, a time consuming combination of knots. There are not many new designs so I set about designing some. In 1994 Harper Collins printed some of my work in the "The best of handmade" a Hard covered edition.

In 1998 we started a new phase of our life when we moved to Coonabararan and Ken and I opened a small successful gallery. This lead to bigger things when we moved to the Northern Rivers and graduated frm TAFE in ceramics & became a TAFE teacher until we retire from the farm.

This isn't the end of our story. Retiring doesn't mean stopping, as I have started a new journey, and hope you enjoy my work as much as I have in creating it.
