Born in England , my family migrated to Australia in 1958. I attended Beverly Hills north Primary School and Wiley Park High, finishing my HSC at evening classes. I was trained as a commercial artist in 1965 - at Kogarah and East Sydney Tech. Learning several mediums at a time. Pottery was one skill. I taught an evening college class for hobby students mainly in hand building and some thrown (wheel) work, for about 3 years at Cleveland st. Evening college. I worked in commercial art studios during 1968-71 and Crown Crystal Glass and John Brian Studios, as a finished artist. In 1969 traveled to Calcutta, India where I worked for a short time for J. Walter Thompson Advertising. Then was employed in 1971-72 as an art teacher at Colyton High School and Punchbowl Boy's High School in Sydney. Raising a family took over for a while. During the years of 1989-2000 I worked as a Diversional therapist. I ran my own business as a Masseuse and Pedicurist during 2001-2009.

I have enjoyed sharing my skills with Children's workshops and Adults at the "Paper Bark Gallery" Evans Head during the period of 2007-2011 and Art on the Corner Inc. Also with the local kids church events, Beach Mission adult and children's activities. I have illustrated the "Gibson Gorilla Animal ABC Book" now published. Working mainly in pencil, ink and watercolour and oil pastels. My husband and I now spend almost 6 months of the year sharing the "Bible" with stories and drawings, to Outback schools in far NSW, Queensland and S.A. Spending time while on the road, sketching.

Since moving to Deepwater, Sept. 2012, I am enjying sharing in my area, with my skills and gifts, with children and adults.

I have taught Drawing and Ink Wash and watercolour workshops with adults, in 2012-2015, with Art on the Corner Inc., all enjoyed these workshops.
